Mirkwood Pullover

The Mirkwood pullover is inspired by the elves that live in these dense woods. Combining the elegant look of elves with a pattern that resembles trees. The pullover is knit top-down, starting at casting on and shaping the back. Stitches are picked up for the fronts, shaping the neckline. Once the underarm is reached the pieces are joined in the round, from there on out it’s an enjoyable, straight forward knit! *Sizes* The pattern is written out in sizes 1 - 2 - 3 (4 - 5 - 6) This corresponds to a finished chest circumference, including positive ease, of 102 - 119 - 136 (153 - 170 - 187) cm I recommend 20-30 cm positive ease, I have a bust circumference of 95 cm and knit size 2. For further measurements, please see the schematic *Please note:* If you ever want to knit any of my patterns but your size isn't available, please let me know I'll happily grade your size and let you test it! *Materials* I used The Nocturne Studio Empyrean: 68% Non-superwash Merino (16,5 micron), 22% Silk, 10% Cashmere. 50 g / 420 m / 459 yds Meterage pullover: 700 - 800 - 900 - 1000 - 1100 - 1200 meters *Gauge* The gauge is 16 sts by 16 rows in stockinette = 10x10cm or 4x4 inches I got gauge on 4.5mm needles, but always make a gauge swatch to find your perfect needle size.
