Starlight cardigan

About ----- This is an intermediate Tunisian crochet pattern for a modified drop shoulder cardigan with mosaic at the bottom edge of body and sleeves, with a V-neck and contrasting ribbing accents. The cardigan is worked bottom-up in flat pieces. First the body is made, then the sleeves are made and sewn on, then the ribbing completes the design and offers some size flexibility. The width of the ribbing affects the amount of ease in your finished project. The pattern is written out for all 12 sizes and has 10 cm of ease at the upper bust. You will choose a size based on the finished garment measurements and follow only the instructions for that size. Adjustments are possible for grading between sizes, for examples to start the body with one size and finish at the bust with a different size, which can fit the shoulders and arms better. Short row bust shaping instructions are included for a better fit over the front of the body. Two cup sizes are provided, one with a 2.5 cm or 1” and the other with 5 cm or 2” of vertical difference across the front of the body. Skill level ----------- Intermediate – you will be making simple and extended stitches, ribbing, simple shaping, short rows, seaming. Measurements ------------ The pattern comes with 12 fully written sizes. You can customize the length of the body by adding or skipping rows.
