Birds of May Wrap Top

The Birds of May wrap top is made top-down and requires no sewing. The pattern is made-to-measure, meaning that you follow the dimensions of your own gauge swatch. You also get to choose your yarn and hook size, but I recommend you stick with a fine or super fine yarn for better drape. I used cotton, but some tester used warmer yarns, like merino, alpaca and mohair, and the result was beautiful. The pattern comes with a complete yardage estimate chart and offers instructions for all design options (long sleeves, short sleeves, lacey ruffle, sleeves, straight bottom variation and peplum) for you to mix and match as you wish. This is an intermediate level pattern. You are expected to know how to make: FSC, ch, SC, and sl st. If you don’t, video tutorials of these stitches are easily found online.
