The **Malva Camisole** is an understated yet playful garment, thoughtfully designed with delicate details to offer comfort and a touch of flair for the warm season.
**Construction**
The body of the camisole begins with the top edge worked in stockinette stitch in the round, followed by a welt detail that separates the top edge from the rest of the body. Short row shaping is then used to raise the front of the camisole, and optional horizontal bust darts are added at the front for those with a fuller bust to ensure the hem lies straight. After the body is worked in stockinette stitch, the bottom edge is finished with a welt, another stockinette stitch section, and an I-cord bind-off with a delicate scalloped edging. The top edge is completed with an applied I-cord and scalloped edging, and I-cord straps with the same edging are added along the top edge.
**Sizing**
The Malva Camisole is graded for 13 sizes: 1 (**2, 3, 4, 5**) (6, 7, 8, 9) (**10, 11, 12, 13**), to fit full bust circumferences from 67 – 158 cm / 26.75 – 63.25", with three cup size options. Cup 1 is worked without bust shaping, Cup 2 adds 4 cm / 1.5" of length to the front of the camisole (with horizontal bust darts), Cup 3 adds 8 cm / 3.25" of length to the front of the camisole (with horizontal bust darts).
Recommended ease: 4 cm / 1.5" of negative ease to 3 cm / 1.25" of positive ease at the full bust.

**Samples**
The fingering weight (green) sample is shown in size 3 without bust shaping (Cup 1) on a full bust of 86 cm / 33.75" and an upper bust of 85 cm / 33.5", resulting in 2 cm / 0.75" of negative ease at the full bust and 1 cm / 0.5" of negative ease at the upper bust.
The DK weight (pink) sample is shown in size 3 without bust shaping (Cup 1) on a full bust of 86 cm / 33.75" and an upper bust of 85 cm / 33.5", resulting in 3 cm / 1.25" of negative ease at the full bust and 2 cm / 0.75" of negative ease at the upper bust.
**Yarn**
The Malva camisole can be worked in *fingering or DK weight yarn*.

The sample is worked in Katia Lino 100% (100% linen; 150 m / 164 yds – 50 g) in the colorway 42.

*DK weight*
The sample is worked in Sandnes Garn Line (53% cotton, 33% viscose and 14% linen; 110 m / 120 yds – 50 g) in the colorway 4353.
You will need 3 (**3, 3, 3, 3**) (4, 4, 4, 4) (**4, 5, 5, 5**) balls of Sandnes Garn Line or approximately 225 (**245, 265, 285, 310**) (335, 360, 385, 405) (**435, 460, 480, 505**) m / 245 (**270, 290, 310, 340**) (365, 395, 420, 445) (**475, 505, 525, 550**) yds of DK weight yarn with a predominant content of plant-based fibers or silk. If following the Cup 2 instructions, account for up to 20 m / 22 yds more yarn than indicated for your size. If following the Cup 3 instructions, account for up to 40 m / 44 yds more yarn than indicated for your size.
