I'm not the happiest when I'm dressed up- I'm most content when I feel like me...and this is why I designed the Waystone Sweater. The Waystone Sweater is for everyone. Size inclusive with a unisex sweatshirt shape, two fit options, and two neckline options, you can mix and match portions of the pattern to customize it perfectly for yourself. The Maine woods are rooted in this down to earth pullover. A weathered, ridged texture flows into classic ribbing on an oversize sweatshirt fit. This sweater can take you from coffee on the porch during chilly fall mornings to evening walks through the woods as the maples change. (or, to Rhinebeck!) Worked up in a sheepy woolen-spun that smells like farm and mountain air, it feels comforting, wild, and broken in. It's just like visiting an old, family cabin that hasn't been updated in years. Familiar elements, but new moments. It is inspired by tall pines, faded flannels, and contentment. Yardage, cropped version: 1120, 1245, 1365, 1550, 1660, 1880, 2015, 2145, 2365, 2505, 2740, 2885 yards / 1025 , 1140, 1250, 1415, 1535, 1720, 1845, 1960, 2165, 2290, 2505, 2640 meters. Yardage, full-length version: 1400 ,1555, 1710, 1925, 2085, 2315, 2480, 2640, 2895, 3060, 3330, 3505 yards / 1120, 1420, 1565, 1760, 1905, 2115, 2270, 2415, 2645, 2800, 3045, 3205 meters. Cropped version modeled with approximately 8”/20 cm of positive ease on Alicia. Full length sample modeled with 4"/10 cm of positive ease on Justin. Sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up, then split for upper body/armholes and worked flat. Shoulders are joined with 3 needle bind off for strength. Sleeves are picked up and knit in the round, as is neckline. Sizes are referred to as A (B, C, D, E)(F, G, H)(I, J, K, L) within the pattern.
