Sunflower Top

**Description**: The Sunflower Top is worked top down. You begin by casting on stitches for the neckline and joining in the round. **Short row** shaping is worked to raise the back neck, while increases are made across both the front and back. The work is divided into front and back panels, which are worked flat to the underarm. After that, the panels are joined again, and the body is worked in stockinette stitch in the round to the hem. Short rows are used at the hem to create the scalloped edge. Optional **bust darts** can be added for a more customized fit. You can follow the suggested bust dart instructions included in the pattern, or use the detailed table at the end of the pattern to calculate the exact number of short rows needed for your bust dart.
