McFrog the Tree Frog

Ever wanted your very own Tree Frog? That's what Mcfrog is! If you're looking for a life size version just switch out your materials for worsted weight and a smaller hook. Using my materials he's 7 inches long (nose to butt). From the pictures you can see he's a little bigger than palm sized, but I use a bigger hook than most crocheters. I also yarn over, yarn over. MATERIALS I USED: Yarn: Bernat Blanket in “Off White” and “Twilight” Premier Basix Chenille Brights in “Poppy,” “Kiwi,” and “Tangerine.” (Less than 2 oz’s of each) Crochet Hook: (I used 8mm) Sewing Needle Polyester Fiberfill Safety Eyes: (I used 15mm) SOME SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO KNOW: ~Color changes (I do them in the second part of the last stitch). ~Chain ~Bobble ~Decrease ~Single Crochet ~Double Crochet
