Sunshine Mohair Cardigan

This beautiful, extremely lightweight cardigan is super easy to knit. The relaxed, open-front design drapes effortlessly, making it an ideal layer over any outfit. If your desired finished bust circumference is not included, you can easily adjust the width of the cardigan at the cast-on stage. The cardigan is designed to be worn open, without buttons or closures, so the finished bust measurement is intended as a guide rather than an exact fit. Small differences in tension won't noticeably affect how the cardigan looks or fits, making this pattern very comfortable to knit. This pattern doesn't include a stitch gauge — and that's intentional. Mohair-silk lace yarn behaves differently from most yarns. After knitting, the fabric continues to relax and the soft halo blooms, so the finished piece often grows slightly over the next few days. Because of this, a stitch gauge measured straight off the needles won't accurately reflect the final fabric. Instead of matching a specific stitch count, focus on the size of each loop on your 14mm needles (approximately 15mm across).
