Je Me Souviens Quebec

Quebec. It's Canada's largest province and one of the first four provinces when Canada became a country. It's got everything! Culture, Food, Music, Arts, Sports, you name it! It was also the province I called home for 7 years. Rather than trying to incorporate everything Quebec has to offer, I chose to keep this hat simple and classic, with features from the provincial flag and a design inspired by the historic Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City. I hope you like the pattern. **Yarn Requirements:** * This pattern calls for DK weight yarn, ideally in Blue and White (Colours in the flag.) * For my sample I used Malabrigo Arroyo in Matisse Blue (MC, 170 yards) and Natural (CC, 60 yards) **Needles:** * 3.25mm and 3.75mm needles on a 16" cord and 3.75mm DPN's, or needles on a 40" cord for magic loop **Gauge:** * 22 sts / 4" **Sizing:** * This hat will fit a head circumference up to 24" **Additional Materials Needed:** * 7 Stitch Markers, one being unique for BOR * scissors, darning needle
