Moonbeam Scarves

Say hello to the Moonbeam Scarf and Moonbeam Mini! This is a great pattern to practice your crochet increasing and decreasing skills. Perfect for an advanced beginner or those with more experience looking for a relaxing or stashbusting project. Pattern notes: This crescent shaped scarf pattern is worked end to end, beginning with increases along one edge, then working evenly in the center, and then later decreasing along that same edge. Increasing and decreasing always happens on the same side, every other row. Moonbeam Scarves comes in two size optons: the smaller Moonbeam Mini and the larger Moonbeam Scarf. Directions and yardage amounts for the larger scarf pattern are indicated in ( ). The Moonbeam Mini is approximately 59" long, 6.5" wide at its widest point. The larger Moonbeam Scarf is approximately 82" long, 10" wide at its widest point. Note on yarn: While I love Malabrigo Rios for this project - I mean, that drape is perfection - it should work well with most worsted weight yarns. This design is flexible, and more advanced crocheters could use other weights of yarn by working more or less rows to suit their needs. But keep in mind that yardage requirements listed are for worsted weight yarn in gauge, so adjusting your yarn weight may result in needing more or less yarn.
