If you’re someone who likes patterns that actually teach you as you go, this one was made for you. This pattern is designed to adapt to real bodies. Your stitch count might fall into one size range while your hip or bust measurement fits another — and that’s completely normal. The size increments are even, so you can comfortably choose the number that best matches your measurements, even if it’s slightly outside your usual clothing size. This 2-panelled crochet shirt has sizes 6-26, and is a pattern recommended for beginner-intermediates and advanced crocheters. The pattern uses 4 types of stitches, and the suggested yarn to use is a 4ply to an 8ply. I used an 8ply for my one, though it was on the thin side, which works great for the stitches used. The pattern includes a size conversion table as a guide, uses both UK and US terminology and has some notes beforehand that you'll need to know before starting the project. This will be handy for everyone, as you need to know your bust and hip circumference to get the stitch count right. There's also a small contents page to go by for different stages of the pattern. Stitches used: Linked Treble Crochet (US= Linked Double Crochet) Star Stitch Crab Stitch Back Loop Only Double Crochet (US= Black Loop Only Single Crochet) You'll need anywhere from 2-6 skeins of yarn depending on the meterage/yardage. I only used 2 and a bit balls for mine, however, I no longer have access to the yarn. Always grab one extra skein than what you need as you're better have more yarn than not having enough. The suggested yarns are merely suggestions, as long as you can find an 8 ply yarn either on the standard thickness or a little bit thinner, you'll be set to do the pattern.
