A flowing lace pattern creates a fabric that feels fluid and light, with vertical lines that echo gentle movement and give the garment its distinctive texture. Stitches are cast on for the hem, and the body is worked in the round in the lace pattern up to the underarm. The work is then divided into front and back sections. The front and back yokes are worked flat, following the chart while shaping the armholes with decreases, allowing the lace pattern to continue uninterrupted and form a soft, natural line. The shoulders are joined using a three-needle bind-off, creating a clean and stable finish. For the finishing details, stitches are picked up along the armholes and neckline and worked in ribbing, adding gentle structure that frames the fluid fabric.
