The Hearth collar is worked seamlessly from the top down, beginning at the back of the neck. Stitches are then picked up for the shoulders and continued into the front. The back has straight shaping, while the front tapers gently toward the ribbed edge for a flattering fit that sits comfortably around the neck. For best results, choose solid or slightly tonal colorways to let the stitchwork stand out. Knit with a single strand of DK-weight yarn for crisp stitch definition, or combine fingering-weight yarn with mohair, suri alpaca, or cashmere for softness and a subtle halo.
