Line beanie

The beanie is knit from brim to crown in classic 1×1 ribbing, creating a stretchy, well-fitting fabric. The minimal texture allows the ribbing itself to define the look. Worked in fingering-weight yarn, the beanie remains light and comfortable, making it suitable for layering across seasons. The brim can be folded double for a neat, balanced look, folded triple for extra warmth, or worn higher for a more relaxed style. SIZE 1 (2, 3) Suitable for head circumference of 53–56 (56–59, 59–61) cm / 20.75–22 (22–23.25, 23.25–24) inches. Circumference: 48 (53, 54.5) cm / 19 (20.75, 21.5) inches. Length with double folded brim: 26.5 (28, 30) cm / 10.5 (11, 11.75) inches. Length with triple folded brim: 29 (30.5, 32) cm / 11.5 (12, 12.5) inches. YARN 330 (350, 370) m / 360 (380, 400) yards of fingering-weight yarn. Blue sample: 2 skeins of Ritual Dyes Maven (100% Rambouillet wool; 242 meters / 265 yards per 50 g), shown in the colorway Hyacinth. Gray sample: 2 balls of Sandnes Garn Sunday (100% merino; 235 meters / 257 yards per 50 g), shown in the colorway 6581. NEEDLES 2.5 mm / US 1.5 circular needles with a cable of 40 cm / 16 inches for the main part. 2.5 mm / US 1.5 double pointed needles or a circular needle with a cable suitable for small circumference knitting for the top of the hat. GAUGE 28 sts and 38 rounds = 10 cm / 4 inches over ribbing, after gentle blocking (do not stretch). Note: Always use the needle size that gets you the right gauge!
