Camping Adventure Mosaic Blanket

*I'm lucky to live in beautiful northern Canada - this blanket pattern is inspired by the nature in my backyard!* The techniques for this pattern are easy! You only need knit and slipped stitches to create the pattern, and only one colour of yarn is used at a time. This is a great introduction to the techniques used for “mosaic knitting”. This pattern includes optional instructions to experiment with intarsia techniques as well to change colours mid-row (see testers’ versions for more examples!) - though you will have a few yarn ends to manage, the end result is worth it! Gauge is not critical for this project, but will affect the finished size and yardage required. Instructions are included for **any yarn weight**, to swatch and determine cast on stitches and needle size that work best for your yarn. Sample shown in DK weight (3) acrylic yarn, using a US 6 - 4mm 40”/101cm circular needle.
