Christmas Horseshoe Wreath Ornament

**Materials Needed** Aran / Worsted weight cotton yarn in Green and Red. 5.5 mm & 3.5 mm hooks Yarn Needle Scissors Optional Christmas Embellishments (bell, snowflakes, etc.) A short string of jute or ribbon if you're planning to hang your ornament. **Abbreviations Used in Pattern** Ch = Chain hdc = half double crochet inc = half double crochet increase = 2 hdc into the same stitch dec = half double crochet decrease over the next 2 stitches st = stitch sts = stitches sl st = slip stitch fo = fasten off **Skill Level** Intermediate **Measurements/Size** The finished ornament measures approximately 9 cm (3.5 in) tall by 7 cm (2.8 in) wide. Notes - You can make the pattern larger or smaller by either: changing the yarn weight and/or hook size. - Numbers at the end of each row (in brackets) indicate the number of final stitches in that row.  - We will be working in hdc (half double crochet) stitches throughout this pattern. - We will be working on both sides of the initial chain. - Please note that I use US crochet terms.
