Here is a softly stuffed, pillow-like elephant with just enough swagger to keep the knit interesting. This versatile pattern works beautifully with any yarn weight, allowing you to create the perfect size for your needs. A simple design with oversized ears and a softly textured cable trunk and lots of potential! Add some embroidery, color blocking or Fair Isle, oh or maybe striped! The arms include a built-in opening to hold an optional removable teether ring, adding a practical feature for babies and toddlers.  Gauge: any yarn weight- Because Sassy is lightly stuffed it requires a smidge tighter gauge, but not stiff, so the fabric keeps stuffing inside while still staying soft and squishy. Knit a small swatch and see if the fabric feels good to you!
