Mythrise Socks

The Mythrise Sock Knitting Pattern is a top-down colorwork sock pattern designed to be an easy entry into stranded colorwork for newer knitters, while being interesting enough for more experienced knitters to enjoy. The pattern begins with a corrugated ribbing cuff, which is honestly the hardest part of the design (but *so* worth the texture), before transitioning into a striped leg with a short, simple stranded colorwork section. Designed with a Dutch heel flap and a double gusset, the rest of the construction is knit in stockinette right up to the toe. A straightforward, and relaxing project for sock knitters of all skill levels. Knit cuff-down with fingering weight yarn, the pattern features a double gusset and wedge toe. I’ve included a photo tutorial for the double gusset to ensure knitters of all skill levels can follow the arch shaping technique with ease, as well as a link to a video tutorial. A finishing tutorial is also provided to help you avoid squared-off edges when grafting the toe with Kitchener stitch.
