1:6th Scale Thomas Slipover

To fit a 32.5 cm/13-inch tall doll (including broad Ken and Action Man) **Ability Level:** Experienced **Materials required:** one pair of size 1.50 mm knitting needles; 50 metres No 10 or No 12 crochet cotton in Main colour, **plus** 5-7 metres each of four contrasting colours **or** 20 metres of one contrast colour, 2 stitch holders or safety pins. **Finished size of slipover: Neck to hem –** 9 cm/3¾-inches; **Chest -** 7 cm/2¾-inches across. **Gauge -** worked over stocking/stockinette stitch: 6 rows and 5 stitches = 1 cm. **Colour work is charted, remainder of pattern has written instructions.** This design is worked using traditional Fair Isle motifs. The stitch patterns have been kept simple to avoid excessive colour changes or cutting of yarns. This design may be worked in either two colours or multiple colours as shown. Colouring charts are included, so colour choices may be tried out before you start knitting, as different colour combinations can give very different results. **Please Note:** It is **NOT** possible to work this slipover in one colour only.
