Mesh Earbuds-Case Pouch

**Overview** The Mesh Earbuds-Case Pouch is a simple, beginner friendly mesh-stitch loop pouch meant to fit most wireless earbuds-cases with neutral to slight negative ease. There is no seaming, and only 2 ends to weave in at the end, making this a super quick project from start to finish. **Construction** This pouch is worked bottom up, starting by working into either side of a chain to create the solid base, then continued upwards in the round using a mesh stitch comprised of simple double crochet and chain stitches. Please note, the pattern in written in US terminology. **Required Techniques** chaining, working into sides of chain, working in the round, stacked double crochet, double crochet, chain stitches, skipped stitches and skipped chain spaces, single crochet, slip stitches to join rounds. **Gauge and Ease** The suggested yarn is Loops & Threads Silky Soft™ Rayon from Bamboo (a Sport to Light DK yarn), which is what all my samples were crocheted in. Stitch Gauge in mesh pattern is 6 sts (2 dc, 2 ch2 sps) per inch, and Row Gauge in mesh pattern is 3 rows per inch, using a 3mm crochet hook. The finished product measures 2.5 inches across, and 1.875 inches tall, and used approximately 5g of yarn (using a skein of 240yards/100g). The case that fits inside is about 2.5 inches across, 1.75 inches tall, and 0.75 inches thick, and fits into this pouch with mostly neutral ease (some areas are more snug than others, but a bit of negative ease is preferable to too much postitive ease in this project).
