The shoulder section is worked flat in Twisted 1×1 Rib. A one-row neck opening is created, front neck stitches are cast on, and the upper front yoke is completed before transitioning to the Feather Stitch pattern and continuing flat to the underarm. Next, stitches are picked up along the cast-on edge to work the back yoke flat to the underarm. Front and back are then joined, underarm stitches are cast on, and the body is worked in the round to the hem. Sleeves or armhole bands are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round to the desired length.
