Granny's Glade Blanket

The Granny’s Glade Blanket is a large lapghan sized blanket, made up of different coloured classic granny squares and motif flower squares throughout the body, joined using crochet stitches. The border is made up of 9 rounds using single crochet, double crochet clusters, some mosaic crochet to form the little flowers along the border and half double crochet for the edging. I’ve used James C Brett Croftland Aran for the beautiful range of rustic, earthy colours and texture. The finished blanket is 40" x 48" (with an option for smaller or larger size). The 35 page pattern is available in US and UK terminology - both versions will be available for you to download. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures to help you make your blanket. Skill Level: Intermediate - a variety of stitches to make up the blanket and border, as well as colour changes - I've included full chart and written/picture instructions for the squares, as well as pictures for joining and each round of the border. There are stitch descriptions for less common stitches.
