*The Honey Tank is a summery sleeveless top with polished edges made in a smooth and breezy linen yarn that shows off the cable and rib stitch pattern.*
**CONSTRUCTION**
—
The Honey Tank is worked top down and seamlessly in an allover cable and rib pattern. Circular needles are used to work flat at first, beginning with the upper back that increases to the width of the back, then is placed on hold. Stitches are picked up at each side of the piece to create the shoulders and front neckline shaping. The shoulders are joined and worked for a time, then joined in the round at the underarms to the back. The body is worked in the round to the desired length, finished with 1x1 ribbing, then bound off. Lastly, stitches are picked up around the neck opening and worked in an i-cord bind off to create a polished neckband.

**SKILLS**
—
This is a written pattern assuming foundational sweater knitting knowledge and is not intended to be beginner friendly. Supplemental research or practice to learn new skills may be required to complete this project.
This pattern requires knowledge of knitting flat and in the round, increasing on the RS and WS, picking up stitches, reading charts, i-cord bind off, and Italian bind off.
Circular needles are used to work flat for the upper back and front pieces, then the work is joined and worked in the round for the rest of the project. The neckband is worked with the smaller cable and optionally a DPN.
Cast on, bind off, and short row methods suggested can be substituted with any other.
