Freja Blouse

The Freja Sweater is a classic and simple blouse with a round neckline, knitted in luxurious, soft cashmere. The Freja Blouse is worked top down in stockinette stitch. Neck stitches are cast on, and the work is knitted flat with increases at each end of the needle to shape the shoulder slopes. Stitches are then picked up along the slanted edge of the back to form the shoulders — each shoulder is worked separately. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves along the shoulder section, and the sleeve cap is shaped with increases. At the same time, the neckline is shaped, and the sections are joined into one piece. Sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body is worked in the round and finished with a rib edge. Finally, the sleeves are worked to three-quarter length, or longer if desired.
