Lavender Field tee

PATTERN INFORMATION Lavender Field is a lightweight tee with a circular lace yoke and a simple stockinette body. It is knitted seamlessly from the top down, beginning at the edge of the lace yoke. The lace pattern is worked across the yoke before the sleeves and body are separated at the underarm and knitted individually. The body and sleeves are knitted in Stockinette stitch. Short-row shaping is used at the back to add a little extra length and improve the overall fit. The clean lines of the body allow the yoke detail to stand out, making this a balanced design that combines interest at the top with an easy, wearable shape. Lastly the stitches for the neckband are picked up from the neckline and worked in ribbing in the round.
