Simple geometric lines and a rhythmic stitch pattern give the scarf a refined, modern look. Mock cables create the illusion of intricate cabling while remaining easy to knit, with no cable needle required. The size can easily be modified by adding more pattern repeats for a larger shawl or by modifying the length in the middle of the scarf.
