Airflow Top

The Airflow Top is a lightweight summer top with a loose fit, wide sleeves and a boat neckline. It is worked from the bottom up and is elegantly finished with a delicate picot stitch. In this pattern you will find written instructions and video tutorials that will help you in the most important steps. **Sizes** The pattern is explained in two sizes: Size 1: Recommended for sizes XXS – M (bust circumference: 75 – 100 cm). Size 2: Recommended for sizes L – 4XL (bust circumference of 100 – 140 cm). The top pictured is worked in size 2 with a bust circumference of 90 cm. **Finished Measurements** (After washing and blocking) Length: 36 (40) cm. Total width from cuff to cuff: 110 (130) cm. Note: Despite the sizes provided, you can easily customize the measurements to your liking. **Gauge** 10 x 10 cm = 20 sts x 7 rows with 4.5 mm hook size in pattern pattern repeat. **Hooks and tools** 4.5 mm or size needed to obtain gauge. You will also need scissors, some stitch markers, a measuring tape and a tapestry needle. **Yarn** 900 (1200) meters of DK weight yarn. For my grey sample in Size 2, I used 2 balls and a half of Tessiland Tencel (100% Lyocell; 200g / 450m per ball). Please note: Yarn requirements are estimates and may vary depending on the type of fiber used or any customizations made to the pattern. For this project, you can use various types of yarn, such as merino, cotton blends, pure cotton or viscose. It is important to select a yarn with a similar yardage to the one indicated and to always work a gauge swatch before starting. Si lavora dal basso verso l'alto ed è rifinito nei bordi con un delicato punto picot. In questo pattern troverai istruzioni dettagliate e numerosi video tutorial che ti guideranno in tutti i passaggi più importanti, dall’inizio alla fine. **Taglie** Il pattern è spiegato in due misure: Misura 1 consigliata per le taglie: XXS - M (circonferenza busto da 75 – 100 cm). Misura 2 consigliata per le taglie: L - 4XL (circonferenza busto da 100 – 140 cm). Il top in foto è lavorato nella misura 2 con una circonferenza busto di 90 cm. Nonostante le indicazioni fornite, all'interno del pattern troverai le istruzioni come personalizzare le misure del top in base alle tue preferenze. **Uncinetto consigliato** 4.5 mm oppure il numero che ti permette di ottenere la trama desiderata o il campione indicato. Avrai bisogno di alcuni marcapunti, forbici, metro e un ago da maglia. **Campione** 10 x 10 cm = 20 m X 7 righe con uncinetto 4.5 mm. Per il campione troverai le istruzioni dettagliate nel pattern. **Filato** 900, (1200) metri di filato di spessore DK. Per il mio top grigio ho usato due gomitoli e mezzo di Tencel di Tessiland (100% Lyocell; 200 g / 450 m per gomitolo). Per questo progetto puoi utilizzare diverse tipologie di filato, come per esempio lana merino, cotone, viscosa, lino etc. L’importante è selezionare un filato con un metraggio simile a quello indicato (rapporto peso/lunghezza), e fare sempre un campione prima di iniziare il lavoro. Per garantire comunque un capo leggero e un drappeggio ottimale, si consiglia l’uso di filati non troppo pesanti. Si prega di notare che la quantità di filato potrebbe variare in base alle proprie modifiche e al tipo di fibra utilizzata. Buon Lavoro!
