Laurevia was designed to feel like wearable foliage: textured lines, little openings of light, and a circular yoke that frames the shoulders like a wreath. The name is a nod to laurel leaves and the calm confidence they symbolize — timeless, elegant, and quietly strong.
The yoke combines cables and lace in a playful way, while the repeats remain easy to memorize, so the knitting quickly turns rhythmic and relaxing. Worked seamlessly from the top down, Laurevia invites you to make it your own: adjust the yoke depth, then choose the length of the body and sleeves to suit your style (my sample was made with a long yoke).
The ease across sizes is 10 cm/4”. The picture shows size 3 with 10 cm/4” of positive ease.

PATTERN NOTES:
• The sweater is worked in one piece from the top down.
• You start with the circular yoke according to the charts (written instructions for the charts are also provided).
• While working the yoke, you can decide the yoke depth you would like to have. To choose your yoke depth, first measure the yoke depth of your favourite, best-fitting sweater, then pick the closest option from the measurements table above under “e – center front yoke depth (long/short)”.
• After the circular yoke, you separate the sleeves and the body, add length to the upper back with short rows for neck shaping, then continue working the sleeves and the body separately.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• basics (knit/purl, increase/decrease)
• short rows
• working in the round
• working from a chart (written instructions to charts are also provided)
