Sea Turtle Beach Top

--- German version below --- The Sea Turtle Beach Top is a light cotton top with an all over lace pattern. The finishings of the top are done by crocheting. The top starts with a crocheted neck band. You then pick up stitches for the back and knit it to the underarms. You repeat the same for the front. Then you close to the round an finish the body to your desired length. Once you are done with the body you finish the top with crochet. You do exactly the same at the bottom of the top as for the armholes. Knitting techniques used: knit and purl stitches, make 1 left/right, knit 2 together, knit 3 together, slip slip knit, yarn over, backwards loop cast on, long tail cast on, bind of. Crochet techniques used: Chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet (given in the US terms) # Sizes and Measurements Available Sizes are (XS, S, M), (L, XL), (2XL, 3XL, 4XL), (5XL, 6XL) ## measurements in cm Bust circumference for these sizes cm: (85, 92, 99), (106, 113), (120, 127, 134), (143, 150) cm A positive ease of 0 - 10 cm is recommended Armhole depth in cm: (12.4, 12.4, 14.5), (14.5, 16.6), (16.6, 18.8, 18.8), (20.9, 20.9) ## measurements in inches Bust circumference for these sizes in inches: (33.5, 36.3, 39), (41.8, 44.6), (47.3, 50.1, 52.8), (56.5, 59.3) A positive ease of 0 - 4 inch is recommended. Armhole depth in inches: (4.9, 4.9, 5.7), (5.7, 6.5), (6.5, 7.4, 7.4), (8.2, 8.2) # Material ## Yarn The sample shown in the pictures was knitted with BC Garn Alba in the color way Petrol (Color 37). If you do not want to use the sample yarn I recommend a cotton yarn with roughly a length of 160 m per 50g (175 yards per 50g) For the sizes (XS, S, M), (L, XL), (2XL, 3XL, 4XL), (5XL, 6XL) you will need approximately (150g, 150g,200g), (200g, 250g), (250g, 300g, 300g), (350g, 400g). ## Needles Use the appropriate needles to reach gauge. I did use the following: * 3.5 mm with a 80 cable for the knitting part * 3.0 mm for the crochet part. ## Other Notions * BOR marker * 4 additional stitch markers * Tapestry needle ------------------------------------ Das Sea Turtle Beach Top ist ein leichtes Baumwolltop mit einem Lochmuster. Um dem Top Struktur und Halt zu geben, sind die Abschlüsse (Bund, Armausschnitte und Halsausschnitt inkl. Träger) jeweils gehäkelt. Das Top wird mit einem gehäkelten Band gestartet, welches zugleich den Halsausschnitt als auch die Träger bildet. Danach werden Maschen für den Rücken aufgenommen und der Rücken wird flach bis unter die Arme gestrickt. Dasselbe wird für die Vorderseite wiederholt. Danach wird zur Runde geschlossen und der Körper kann auf die gewünschte Länge gestrickt werden. Zum Abschluss werden die Armausschnitt und ein Bündchen gehäkelt. Benutze Stricktechniken: linke und rechte Maschen, 1 Zunahme linksgeneigt und rechtsgeneigt, 2 zusammen stricken, 3 überzogen zusammen stricken. 2 überzogen zusammen stricken, Schlaufenanschlag (Backwards Loop Cast On), Long Tail Cast On, Abketten. Benutzte Häkeltechniken: Luftmaschen, Feste Maschen, Stäbchen. # Größen und Maße Das Top kann in den Größen (XS, S, M), (L, XL), (2XL, 3XL, 4XL), (5XL, 6XL) gestrickt werden ## Maße in cm Brustumfang: (85, 92, 99), (106, 113), (120, 127, 134), (143, 150) cm Ein positiver Spielraum von 0-10 cm wird empfohlen. Armausschnitttiefe: (12.4, 12.4, 14.5), (14.5, 16.6), (16.6, 18.8, 18.8), (20.9, 20.9) # Material ## Garn Das Beispielmodell in den Bildern wurde aus der BC Garn Alba in der Farbe Petrol (37) gestrickt. Falls du ein anderes Garn verwenden möchtest, emfpehle ich dir ein Baumwollgarn mit einer ungefähren Lauflänge von 160 m auf 50 g zu benutzen. Für die Größen (XS, S, M), (L, XL), (2XL, 3XL, 4XL), (5XL, 6XL) benötigst du ungefähr (150g, 150g, 200g), (200g, 250g), (250g, 300g, 300g), (350g, 400g). ## Nadeln Benutze die Nadelgröße, mit denen du die Maschenprobe erreichst.
