Mediterraneo Top is a seamless top-down summer top featuring clean horizontal stripes, minimal lines and an effortless Mediterranean feel. With its graphic stripes and slightly boxy fit, Mediterraneo Top is designed as an easy, contemporary summer piece — easy to wear, comfortable in warm weather, and versatile enough to style casually or more dressed up. Worked in a light fingering-weight cotton/linen blend, the fabric feels breathable, fluid and soft, making it ideal for layering or wearing directly against the skin. The neckline is worked in broken rib and shaped with German short rows. Shoulder increases are worked in the round before the piece is divided into front and back sections, which are worked flat to shape the armholes. The body is then joined and worked in stockinette stitch, while the side panels continue in broken rib using the main color. Before the hem, the work is divided once more to create subtle side slits that add movement and a lightweight feel to the finished garment.
