My First Crochet Project

This is a very similar pattern to my own very first crochet project, with some modifications to make things as beginner-friendly as possible. No crochet abbreviations are used to keep things closer to natural language. You can substitute any stitch for the single crochet and make a beautiful cowl while practicing a new skill! Materials Needed ~200 yds of worsted weight yarn 5 mm hook tapestry needle Gauge 12 st = 4 inches in single crochet Finished Size 26” circumference, 12” height
