Knives Out Dishcloth

My husband named these dishcloths “Knives out” because they reminded him of a movie we had watched. The background in this movie had a wall of knives which he thought of as soon as he saw the cloth. These are the (very) detailed instructions for how I made my Tunisian linen stitch dishcloths in the round. This method requires a double-ended hook. If you don’t have one that is the correct size, you can make a double-ended hook by attaching two hooks from an interchangeable set with a cable or a hook connector. If you do this, and your hooks are different sizes, use the larger hook for the “forward pass” and the smaller one for the “return pass”. Before making these cloths, I watched a couple of instructional videos on doing Tunisian in the Round (TITR) from the centre out. There are a couple of videos on this technique, and I highly recommend watching them before attempting to follow my pattern. A couple of YouTube channels to check out are TL Yarn Crafts and Knitter Knotter. Both channels have videos on how to do TITR, but I have yet to see any videos or patterns that show how to do linen stitch in the round, which was my goal for this project. I hope my notes are useful to you in making your own project.
