This headscarf is worked from top to bottom (wide to narrow) in a lace pattern. You begin by knitting the triangular scarf. After binding off, a cord is crocheted, continued along the cast-on edge of the scarf, and then extended into a cord on the opposite side, forming the ties. The scarf will be 40 cm wide and 25 cm high. If you wish to have a bigger scarf you can add more stitches, but make sure that the total number of stitches is divisible with 14, plus two edge stitches, so that the center of the scarf aligns correctly.
