PDF pattern for the Margo Top Knitting pattern + pattern look book. About the Pattern: Margo top is a striped knitted tee with a square neckline, the sleeves of the top can be altered to be short, quarter length, or long sleeve. The pattern begins by working in the round, bottom up, with body shaping (waist, bust, short rows) along the striped pattern. After the body section is complete, sleeves will begin by picking up stitches along the arm holes, working flat, and using short rows to achieve sleeve shaping. The pattern is advanced beginner and is written in english using US knitting terminology. Recreating/ redistributing this pattern into a tutorial of any kind is strictly prohibited. Sizing *This pattern is not a traditional graded pattern It will be made- to-measurements (M2M), which means you can plug in exact measurements (in auto calculator) and recreate a top that fits like a glove. M2M also allows you to use any yarn and needle combination. Making a gauge swatch using desired yarn/hook size, and plugging in necessary measurements will formulate personalized stitch and row counts. Skills Used Long tail cast on, folded hem, stripe color work, waist decreases, bust increases+ short rows, folded BO, picking up sts along the row edge.
