Knit from the cuff down, the stranded motif decorates the leg while the foot is knit in smooth stockinette both for a more enjoyable knit and a more wearable sock. A classic ribbed cuff keeps your sock in place, and a heel flap and gusset give you good fit in the heel. SIZES (Child, Adult S, M, L) FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Foot circumference: (6.25, 7.5, 8.75, 10) inches / (15.5, 19, 22, 25) cm YARN (1, 1, 1, 1) skein Rambler by The Woolly Thistle in MC (Cinnamon Fern) and (1, 1, 1, 1) skein Rambler by The Woolly Thistle in CC (Natural). Or (155, 217, 296, 380) yards / (142, 199, 271, 348) meters MC, (27, 32, 37, 43) yards / (25, 30, 34, 40) meters CC fingering weight yarn. Yardage estimate is for both socks. NEEDLES One 32-inch (80 cm) US size 1 (2.25 mm) (or size needed to obtain gauge) circular knitting needle. Note: This pattern assumes the Magic Loop method is used. Feel free to use DPNs instead if you prefer. NOTIONS Three stitch markers, and a tapestry needle. GAUGE 32 stitches and 46 RNDs = 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette on US size 1 (2.25 mm) needles.
