Size & Materials • Finished size: approx. 18 x 18 cm (7 x 7 inches) - (depends on yarn and tension) • Yarn: Plush yarn. I used Chinese plush yarn 100 % polyester (120m./100gr.): - «beige» (approx. — 30 gr.); - «dark-brown» (approx. — 25 gr.). - «white» (approx. — 5 gr.); • To make the toy able to stand on its legs: 1.5 mm copper wire – approx. 0,8m. + glue *(You can buy this wire in a craft shop, but I suggest buying it in an electronic goods store. There you can buy a 3x1.5 cord. Before buying the cord, make sure that the wire inside it is whole and does not consist of several thin wires. With a paper knife, remove the insulation)*; • Black bead 8 mm - 2 pcs; • Dark-brown floss for embroidering the mouth and hair; • White beads 5-6 mm (teeth) - 4 pcs; • Stuffing fiberfill. With this amigurumi pattern, you’ll make a standing crochet fantasy insect (combo of mosquito, bug, flea, ant) toy, full of personality and humor. The toy stands without support and should be made using a wire frame (included in the tutorial+video). Skill Level - This pattern is beginner-friendly (you should know basic stitches).
