This tank includes optional bust darts as well as optional waist shaping to help you get your ideal fit. Sumac is also worked top-down, making it easy to adjust the body to your ideal length. The contrast trim is a great opportunity to play with fun new color combinations, or to use your favorite classic color pairings. The trim could also be a great way to use up some colorful fingering weight scrap yarn! My intention is for Sumac to be a super-wearable closet staple you can add to your warm weather handknit wardrobe. **SIZING** Fit I is graded based on a traditional women’s sizing chart and Fit II is graded based on a traditional men’s sizing chart. Both fit types are graded to 10 sizes, designed to fit bodies with bust/chest measurements between 30-66" (75-165 cm). This tank top is designed to be worn with approximately 4” (10 cm) of negative ease at the bust/chest. (This means the tank’s circumference will be less than your body’s bust/chest circumference.) See the Pattern Details PDFs linked above to see a full schematic. **SAMPLE** Photos show Fit I Size B worn with 3.75” (9.5 cm) of positive ease at the bust on a body with a height of 5’3” (160 cm). **TESTERS** Check out the [Tester Showcase][2] to view the projects from all my wonderful test knitters! This can be a great way to get color & yarn inspiration, as well as a chance to see the fit of this garment on a wide range of different bodies. **YARN** Explorer Knits + Fibers Linen Sock (80% non-superwash Merino, 20% linen; 437 yds / 400 m per 100 g). Sample is shown in Heirloom (MC) and Nightfall (CC). This pattern can be knit in any fingering weight yarn that meets gauge. The contrast edging could be a great opportunity to use up some scrap yarn! Be sure to swatch in your chosen yarn to ensure you achieve the intended gauge and like the resulting fabric.
