About The Kattegat Sweater is knit top down using a raglan construction. Short rows are used to lift up the back and make the sweater comfortable and well-fitting. The sweater has a relaxed style with straight sleeves, the neckline sits close but comfortably around the neck. It is made to have a 10-15 cm of positive ease - meaning it should be about 10-15 cm bigger than your bust measurement when it is finished. The sample sweater in the photos is a size 1, fitting a bust measurement of 82 cm, with a finished measurement of 96 cm and a 14 cm positive ease. Adjust your needles accordingly to fit the said gauge. For this design, I have used the magic loop technique with 80 cm circular needles for the entire sweater - see technique section for more detailed description. Make sure to make a gauge swatch to ensure the sweater will be in the desired size. Adjust your needles to ensure you hit the gauge.
