When I came to Italy the first time, during summer, I was happily surprised to find lavender flowers here and there in the small old villages. Particularly in Tuscany, there are villages that seem to live on lavender. I love the scent of the lavender flowers. The small, delicate flowers are the main role in this tee. The stems grow seamlessly from the hem ribbing creating a beautiful detail to the otherwise simple garment. Please note that any changes made to the body or sleeve length will affect the amount of yarn needed. **Gauge** 25 sts x 33 rnds = 10 cm /4” with 2.5 mm (US 1.5) needles in both Lavanda lace and stockinette st in the round after blocking. **Notions** 1 st marker, 3 st holders / spare cables or scrap yarn, spare needle (can be smaller than gauge needle), tapestry needle. Optional: st markers for pattern repeats. **Techniques used** Old Norwegian cast on, knitting in the round, basic lace knitting, knitting flat, German short rows, Italian Tubular BO, Three needle BO, picking up sts. The pattern is both charted and written. The pattern has been professionally tech edited and it has been test knit. Sizes 2XL, 3XL, 3XL2, 4XL and 5XL haven’t been tested.
