Knit Crazy Chickens

These Knit Crazy Chickens are inspired by Heike’s fabulous crocheted [Crazy Chickens!][1] Heike has a really fun group called [Hühnchen’s Adventures Group][2] where members love to pose their chickens doing all kind of crazy stuff! Given I don’t crochet but still wanted to join the fun, I was lucky enough to have Heike’s permission to make a knit version! I think what the world needs now is more crazy chickens! The body is knit in the round on dpns and the wings are made by picking up stitches. I am especially pleased with my easy i-cord comb and legs which have bobbles sticking out each side for the shaping. The comb is also stuffed into the head and cinched into place.
