Margaret the Hen – knitting pattern Margaret is a small, slightly awkward hen you can make from whatever yarn you already have at home. :) She is worked in the round, with simple shaping and a short row section. The construction is straightforward, but leaves a bit of space for your own choices along the way. This pattern is meant to be a base rather than a fixed result. You can adjust small details, change proportions, skip elements or add your own - each Margaret will turn out a little different. No two are exactly the same, and that’s part of it. Details: • worked in the round (DPNs or magic loop) • simple increases and short rows (W+T) • photos included for key steps • suitable for confident beginners and beyond Materials: Use any yarn you like - this is a great stash-friendly project.
