Consider purchasing an extra skein if your gauge is off or if you prefer a longer/wider scarf. Or any DK weight yarn: approx. 219-257yds (200-235m) total. MATERIALS 24” (minimum 60 cm) circular or straight needles. US 7 (4.0 mm). Stitch markers, tapestry needle. GAUGE - BLOCKED 4" (10 cm) In lace pattern, 22 stitches x 30 rows. Gauge is not crucial at all, but will affect final size and yardage. FINISHED DIMENSIONS Approx. 53" (135 cm) wingspan along top edge 9.5” (x 24 cm) width. Unblocked: 40" (100 cm) x 9" (22 cm).
