Spring Tide is a simple cardigan / jacket with a comfortable and relaxed boxy fit and minimal shaping, that was inspired by the fishing nets you can see piled up at the harbours of fishing villages scattered along the West Coast of Ireland. The body of the cardigan features a striking yet very simple and intuitive cable design framed by a simple 2x2 broken rib. The body of the cardigan is worked flat, bottom up, and the sleeves are picked up from the armholes and worked in the round. This cardigan has no neck shaping that makes the front panels sit higher than the back. The measurements listed below are for the final cardigan after washing and blocking. The pattern comes in 9 sizes (1, 2, 3) **(4, 5, 6)** (7, 8, 9) with finished body circumference (with front bands overlapping) (102, 113, 122) **(130.5, 142, 150.5)** (159.5, 170.5, 179) cm / (40.75, 45.25, 48.75) **(52.25, 56.75, 60.25)** (63.75, 68.25, 71.5) inches and is meant to be worn with a generous positive ease of 20 - 40 cm / 8 - 16 inches at the bust.
