The toe-up pattern is on pages 5-6 of the pattern and the cuff down pattern follows on pages 7-8. Undecided? Try them both!! The double helix stitch pattern is shown in both charted and written formats. **Size** S (M, L) or to fit Womans US shoe size - 6 – 7 ½ (8 - 9 ½, 10 – 11 ½) / EU 36 -38 (38 - 40, 40 – 42) **Finished sock measurements** **Circumference:** 7 (8, 9)”/ 18 (20.5, 23) cm. **Length from toe to heel (easily adjustable):** 8.5 (9, 9 ½)”/ 21.5 (23, 24) cm. **Yarn** Approximately 55 (68, 80) g / 255 (315, 370) yds / of fingering weight yarn. Shown in Cape May Fiber Co MCN Sock (75% superwash merino, 15% nylon, 10% cashmere; 435 yds per 100g skein) 1 skein Toe up version shown is size M in Nudibranch. Cuff down version shown is size M in Speckled Trout. **Gauge** 32 sts and 48 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in St st and in st pattern (slightly stretched) after blocking. **Needles** Set US 1 (2.25 mm) double pointed needles or preferred needles for working socks, or size needed to obtain correct gauge. **Notions** Stitch markers, cable needle, sock blockers Note: Pattern was written in a general format that will work for either the magic loop method, double pointed needles or mini circulars.
