Sizes: Small (child), Medium (average adult/teen), & Large (fits most men) Yarn: DK weight held single or fingering weight yarn held double will work. Meterage: 190 meters / 210 yards Gauge: 32 stitches and 32 rows = 10cm / 4" in 1x1 rib in the round (You most likely don’t need to hit gauge for this pattern as it will stretch to the wearers head. The gauge is only here for reference.) Needles: 3.25 mm or US 3 75cm / 30" circulars or 20cm/ 8" DPN Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, tape measure Pattern Notes: This project is worked in the round from the bottom up using a alternate long tail cast on. It features a 1x1 all over ribbed texture, slipped stitch for a crease line, and decreases to shape the top of the hat. finally, it is closed with the tapestry needle and the ends woven in.
