Rainbow Hood

This is the Rainbow Hood! It has an accompaniment YouTube video that may be of use to you. [YouTube Tutorial Here!][1] This hood came out of wanting a balaclava that was not so tight around my head or face. It has a more relaxed fit than other balaclava patterns. Materials: (Interchangeable needle set is recommended) Size 8 round needles Size 7 round needles About 29” length for cable & needle is recommended, to make knitting the main panel easier. 1 skein of Lang Cloud Tweed Yarn or 2 skeins of Malabrigo Mecha Yardage required is ~211 yds in either yarn. 162 g in Malabrigo or 73 g in Lang Cloud Tweed. 1 Stitch holder, 1 Stitch marker for BOR, and tapestry needle. Colors are Diana for Malabrigo, and 1 for Lang Cloud Tweed. This is a good pattern for a beginner, if following along with the YouTube video. This pattern has not been pattern tested, although I have knit it multiple times in multiple yarns. The Rainbow name comes from the bright and colorful yarns I have chosen for this project, and also refers to the Lang Cloud Tweed Trout colorway which would work well for this pattern!
