The Brittany Skirt

The Brittany skirt is a beginner friendly made to measure pattern for a crochet mini skirt mimicking a drop waist silhouette and all the good vibes of early 2000s fashion. The pattern is built off of a color work striped waist band, finished off with button detailing, and option for hidden elastic thread for the perfect fit. This pattern is made to measure and was tested for size. Please keep in mind that these yardage estimates may vary based on factors such as length, adding or subtracting extra increases, or any other alterations you may make to the pattern. Primary Color: (xs) 500, (s) 550, (m) 600, (l) 675, (xl) 750, (xxl) 825, (1X) 900,(2X) 975, (3X) 1,075, (4X) 1,150 (5X) 1,300 Secondary Color: (xs) 75, (s) 90, (m) 115, (l) 135, (xl) 160, (xxl) 190, (1X) 215, (2X) 240, (3X) 265, (4X) 290, (5X) 315 Accent Color: (xs) 125, (s) 165, (m) 200, (l) 250, (xl) 280, (xxl) 315, (1X) 340, (2X), 380, (3X) 410, (4X) 445, (5X) 480. This pattern requires 3 colors of fingering weight yarn, I used Hobbii Friends Cotton for the example skirts, but you can turn to any of your favorite yarns of this weight! You will need 3 colors to complete the waistband color work as written in pattern. Other materials required are a 2.25mm and 3mm hook, scissors, a measuring tape, a darning needle, needle and thread (to sew the buttons), all the buttons you desire, and optional elastic thread!
