The Crew beanie is a cozy, chunky beanie that knits up quickly. It can be made with a double stripe or in a solid color. The pattern includes a tubular cast on, and is knit from the brim up, working decreases at the top to taper the crown. The tubular cast on can be substituted for a more beginner-friendly option. The samples shown are both made in Cascade Baby Alpaca Chunky. The larger beanie (size 6) is knit in colors 669 Walnut Heather and 565 Ecru.
