The flowing brioche stitch pattern, created by increases and decreases, mimics the way water comes and goes, with waves gently crashing on the shore. To make sure the wavy edges are nice and firm, a small I-cord is worked at both edges. The pattern is written for 3 sizes, varying in both length and width. The smallest one fits around the neck just once with a knot, while the largest can be doubled with longer ends.
