Knock Three Times

This is an easy to knit beanie style hat that features simple bands of 3x3 ribbing for the entire body of the hat. Each band is set off with a small line of garter stitch. The bands of ribbing are offset to give the pattern a little extra interest. The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up and is completed in one piece. Only knit and purl stitches needed, with knitting 2 stitches together to create the decreases in the top of the hat. Knit one for yourself. Then maybe a few more to share with family and friends, or to give to a cause that's important to you. The instructions are for an adult size, but easy to adjust by adding or subtracting the number of cast-on stitches by six. Have fun choosing colors and creating a rainbow collection of hats.
